Accessibility Statement

What we aim for

This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. That is a target we design and build against, not a certification, and we would rather say so plainly than claim conformance we have not had independently audited.

What we have built in

Specific measures in the current site include:

• A skip link so keyboard users can bypass the navigation.
• A visible, high-contrast focus indicator on every link, button and form control.
• Text and interface colours chosen to meet AA contrast ratios.
• Form fields with real, associated labels rather than placeholder text alone.
• Navigation and footer links sized to meet the 24x24 pixel minimum target size, which automated accessibility scanners do not test for.
• Reduced-motion support: animation is disabled for anyone whose system asks for it.
• Semantic headings and landmarks, so the page structure is navigable by screen reader.
• Answers in FAQ accordions present in the page for anyone reading without JavaScript.

Known limits

Automated testing catches only part of what matters, and no site is finished. If you hit something that does not work for you, we would genuinely like to know — it is the fastest way for us to fix it.
